It's over for another year! The Dakar finished today in style, with Dutchman Frans Verhoeven winning the final stage.

Poor Chilean rider, Chaleco, who was in a good overall third position, broke his motorcycle, and is no longer on the podium.

Marc Coma wins his third Dakar, and Cyril Despres ends in 2nd overall. Helder Rodrigues on his Yamaha finished 3rd.

KTM's dominance in rally races has remained untouched, despite the 450cc rule. 8 KTMs made it to the top 10. One Yamaha and one Honda make up the rest of the top 10.

Almost there, this is really it. Tomorrow is more a formality..

Despres really tried to gain, but was not able to. Coma finished 1st, Despres 2nd and Helder Rodrigues 3rd.
