Rwanda: 200 Yamaha Motorcycles Distributed To Health Workers Posted: 23 Feb 2012 10:00 PM PST The Minister of Health in Rwanda distributed 237 Yamaha 100 AG motorcycles (a motorcycle designed for NGOs in Africa) to the regional health workers in the country. Back on 2005, they had only one motorcycle, serving a population of 29,000. The motorcycles will be used for follow-up for tuberculosis patients in a community outreach program, enhancing the recovery of the patients. The bikes will also be used to monitor malaria patients, vaccinations and family planning sensitization programs. ...
