It's not an easy task to make an advertisement for a bank or financial services targeted at motorcycle riders. Most bikers just aren't interested in them. The FAM agency in Brazil did a pretty good job, producing ads that are for financial services geared towards motorcycle and scooter riders.

The company is Yamaha Bank, meant to give out loans to bikers wanting to buy a motorcycle or scooter. Instead of boring financial charts, theirs shows a bike. Nice touch.

Electric Scooter Made Out Of Linen

Citi Ek o
French research & development group, Citi, showed at the last Paris motorcycle & scooter exhibition, their electric scooter concept, named ek'O.

The interesting things that set this electric scooter apart from others, is that the frame shell is made out of linen (resin), and that it used only 15 parts, instead of the traditional average of 50 parts.

Performance is that of a 125cc, and they expect to be selling it by 2013 at a street price of €5000.

Greece: Rain, Motorcycles, Umbrellas

You see this often enough on news stories coming through the internet.... people riding in rain on a motorcycle holding an umbrella. You ask yourself how the heck they do it?

Or is this a 1 second photo, because in the 2nd second, either the umbrella has blown away, or the pillion has, or both.
